My career spans both the 4-wheeler and 2-wheeler domains, where I've specialized in cutting-edge technologies such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), e-Powertrain, and High Voltage Battery Management Systems (BMS) for two-wheelers. I have played a key role in developing HiL architectures, building tools that simplify everyday workflows and designing automated test scenarios for complex system-level validations.

My passion lies in building intelligent automation systems that accelerate innovation in electric mobility and next-generation vehicle platforms.

Work Experience

Senior Automation Engineer – Ultraviolette Automotive (Jul 2025 – Present)
  • Designed and deployed an automated HIL validation framework using Robot Framework and Python for HV BMS, eliminating Vector license dependency and reducing manual validation effort by 85%.
  • Authored 200+ HV BMS test cases covering cell balancing, protection logic, and 95% safety-critical requirements. This helped in identifying 10+ functional defects at pre-integration.
  • Gained good knowledge on hardware schematics and based on different Datasheets, implemented Python-based simulator APIs to validate overcurrent, OV/UV, temperature, and DAC-driven scenarios.
  • Built a PySide6 based system-level test UI, reduced debugging turnaround time by 90% and supported cross-team issue resolution.
  • Strengthened EOL software to be used for 100+ HV BMS and CMB boards validation per day by refining requirements, restructuring test logic, enhancing backend execution, and implementing flashing capability.
  • Developed an HV BMS Pack Configurator tool integrating low-cost CAN interfaces (CANable, IXXAT), automated barcode scanning, and AWS. Eliminated manual configuration errors in the factory across 6+ bike models
Diagnostics & Automation Engineer – Mercedes-Benz R&D (Dec 2022 – Jun 2025)
  • Analyzed 638+ requirements, and developed 368 test cases (CAPL, OTX), improving test coverage 5x and enhancing quality.
  • Conducted ECU / HIL testing for 25+ releases, raising 30+ critical bug reports with a high acceptance rate.
  • Independently led CyberHIL and Camera Calibration for Driving and Parking, worked on HIL setup, derived test sequences, and implemented strategies to minimize failures.
  • Leading the CDD Authoring team, managing DID’s, RID’s, DTC updates based on the UDS services for IDC(Gen6) ECU Base Software.
  • Automated test summary generation of the release process, reducing the manual effort from 5 hours to 30 minutes using HTML/XML parsing and Confluence integration.
  • Developed front-end GUI and key backend components to deliver high-quality tools supporting 10+ operations for SCN and parallel IDC6 teams.
  • Implemented efficient Python scripts for artifacts comparison and validations using Pandas, NumPy and other frameworks, achieving a 12x performance boost while ensuring zero-defect delivery.
  • Contributed to CI/CD pipelines for concurrent automated file generation (Odx-d, Odx-e, SMRD, PDX, DEXT) and CDD artifacts verification.
Senior Engineer – KPIT Technologies (Nov 2019 – Dec 2022)
  • Authored 100+ test cases and implemented CAPL scripts in CANoe for system validation across 6 carlines.
  • Automated test execution, reducing manual effort by 60% and streamlining flashing via Trace32, E-Sys, and INCA.
  • Supported on CCU HIL box and relay connections setup; HIL setups like ETAS / dSpace.
  • Handled Smoke, Functional and Regression testing of 6 major topics Diagnostics, Power Management, NVM, Security and Flashing.
  • Administered a learning plan to the whole 26-member team; For DTC Healing, Buffer Full Conditions and JTAG Flashing with CCU connected in vehicles.
  • Successfully managed 4 or more parallel releases with on-time delivery and zero-defect artifacts. Contributed to getting a good CSAT score of 4.92.
